LEM = LEAN EFFECTIVE MANAGEMENT
In business, long-term advantage is important, which in turn consists of working out unique competences based on know-how, experience and innovative solutions in less time [1]. In recent years, the concept of Lean Management (LM) has become the knowledge initiating the indicated distinguishing features. The genesis of the area of knowledge contained in this name is related to the activities of the well-known Japanese company Toyota, and its Production System (TPS) is the nucleus of the Lean concept.
Lean management is a concept of enterprise management based on adapting it to the current market conditions.
The main goal of Lean is to accelerate the flow of processes by reducing waste.

Lean principles should be introduced both in professional and private life, or in the reverse order. The application of Lean methods in the enterprise, the corporation, can certainly be accelerated by initiating its process with the creation of the company’s LEM Code. What do I mean here? Well –
The LEM Code is a project of my authorship
The LEM Code is a set of: rules, ways to reduce damage and waste in your company. The Code is created by ALL employees of the company.
The LEM Code project consists of the following processes: Analysis of the company’s activity – Training, consulting – development of the LEM project based on information from the company’s employees – development of the LEM Code in the paper and online version.
After completing the training in LEAN Management, the company’s employees submit their ideas for reducing losses and wastage in the area of their position on the forms provided for this purpose. Based on the forms, a report with ideas is prepared. The report is submitted to senior management for approval.
Important – ideas for simple activities that do not break the procedures, such as: turning off the lights in an empty warehouse, sending information about the refusal to sell given services to one client with one letter, printing one copy of the attachment, which is in the system, etc. are available for immediate use. However, the activities limiting the loss, the waste that make up the processes defined by the substantively accepted procedures, require prior approval of the management / authorities. For this reason, the LEM Code consists of ideas provided by employees in the initial report, approved top-down.

The creation of the LEM Code in the enterprise will have effects in several perspectives: internal, customer, financial and development.
Internal perspective – the LEM Code will affect the quality of the work performed, which, through timeliness and accuracy, will result in effective customer management.
As a consequence, it will create individual and team improvement.
Customer perspective – the above-mentioned time and money counts for the customer. By perfecting your work
using the LEM Code – products / services are offered in good quality, at a fair price and on decent conditions. Partner cooperation Client – Company builds a good brand as a result.
Financial perspective – using the principles of reducing losses and wastage will largely affect the savings in the company in financial terms. For example – Saving time on production will translate into a greater number of products / services produced. Another example – employing more people with disabilities will ensure (apart from a large change to + in the culture of the organization), a reduction in costs by type (taxes), as well as organizational or management costs (lower PFRON costs !!! – ABOUT THIS ANOTHER ARTICLE COMING SOON). All this will contribute to the long-term value of shares (if the entity is a listed company) and / or economic added value.
Development perspective – The LEM Code will ultimately result in the development of human capital of the organization and employee satisfaction. At the same time, the increased efficiency of the client’s capital, information capital (which is also the LEM Code) will be noticeable. The LEM Code is both the result and the cause of effective management of organizational capital and innovation capital. This is the goal and effect of strategic and tactical planning.
Creating the LEM Code is not a difficult activity, but it requires a willingness to change and a lot of commitment into it.
